Do you carry any blinds/shades in-stock?

While most of our blinds and shades are special-order, we do carry a cellular shade program in-stock that we are able to customize for you.  Also, ask us about our temporary shades we can offer you until your products arrive!

What are custom window coverings?

Custom window treatments are window coverings that are created specifically for your windows. They include many types of window treatments such as horizontal blinds, vertical blinds, different types of shades, draperies, curtains, and even shutters. They are precisely measured, fabricated, and installed to fit the size and style of your window and home.

I have an odd-shaped window, can you help me cover that?

Odd-shaped windows are our specialty!  We offer a variety of products that can cover just about anything from arches to skylights!  We are also available to help you cover those windows that are just too tall to reach (i.e.: foyer windows, etc.).

Do you offer in-home consultations?

Yes!  We can come to your home to help you choose the product(s) that are guaranteed to fit your specific needs.  We strongly encourage each client to come into the store prior to us coming out so that we can get an overview of your desired product/style/color/etc. as it is impossible for us to bring out all of our resources. At your home we will bring material, trims, hardware, tailored to your request so that you can get an idea of what your product will look like when finished. We will also take any necessary measurements and discuss any detailed questions you may have as to how the product will look and be installed.  Please contact us for pricing and availability.

Can you repair my existing blinds/shades?

If you have purchased your custom blinds/shades from us and we have installed those items, we offer a one-year full-service warranty that allows the installer to come out to your home and repair or service your product.  If necessary, we will repair or replace the defected product free of charge. There will be no charge for any service within the first year. 

If you have purchased a product from us and it is after the one-year warranty, please either bring the product in to us and we will schedule a time for the installer to review what needs to be done, or schedule a time for us to come to your home. There is a $25 take down and a $25 re-installation fee after the first year or if you are unsure if it is our product. 

Most repairs have to go back to the manufacturer, and the repair, shipping & handling fees can vary. It is best to contact us if you are in need of a repair. 

If you did not purchase the product from us, you will need to bring it in to us. There is no guarantee we can offer you a repair service.

I want to update my window treatments, but don't want to spend a fortune... Can you still help me?

Absolutely!  We carry a wide-variety of products that are guaranteed to work within any budget!  

How should I care for my window treatments?

Blinds and shades are relatively easy to care for and maintain.  Most products will require the use of a dry cloth to keep them free from dust and debris.  In some instances a damp cloth may be used.  You should never submerge your product in water, however, as this will void any warranty on the product and cause damage.

For soft window treatments (valances, curtain panels, etc.) refer to the care instructions listed on the item's tag.  All Creative Home Collection window treatments are Dry Clean Only.

Do you offer upholstery services?

While we do carry a wide range of upholstery-weight fabrics, we are only able to offer our customers reupholstery services for cushions and pillows at this time.  If you are uncertain if your project fits into these categories, please don't hesitate to contact us for more information!
